FAQ

- Can I bring my own food and drink to the campsite?
- One of the downsides of our awesome location is that the police have advised us that we would have to do a thorough search of all food and drink if it were to be allowed onto the site. As we would prefer you to enjoy your time with us rather than wait in a VERY long queue to be searched we have decided that there is to be no food and drink brought on site. However, we understand that this is a camping experience and is about enjoying your time on a budget. As such, we will have a supermarket in the grounds and the prices will match supermarket prices. This is not a money making exercise for us - but about ensuring the safety, security and enjoyment of all campers.
- Can I bring my own alcohol onto the site?
- No. Again, due to security reasons you will not be able to bring any alcohol onto the site. The bars will be amply stocked for your convenience.
- Will I have access to all onsite facilities?
- Yes, you will have access to all onsite facilities as advertised. Dependent upon which camping option you have booked, there may be some facilities that are not included in your booking price (i.e. breakfast and bedding). Please ensure you read the inclusions carefully.
- Are there toilets and showers at the campsite?
- Yes we will provide toilets and showers at the campsite.
- Do I need a UK address to make a booking?
- No you can book from anywhere in the world, and we are expecting our visitors to come from around the world.
We don’t send any information or tickets to your address, everything is sent electronically to your email address.
- What is the deal with the shuttle bus?
- The shuttle bus will run daily from 6:45am - 1:30am. It will only be available for campers to use and will cost £2 a trip. It will travel between the camp site and the Olympic park regularly and the trip will take between 5-10 minutes.
- What if I get injured?
- There will be a first aid tent on the site and we will have a 24 hour on-call doctor. However it is essential that you have travel insurance, valid for the duration of your stay.
- Can I bring my car and park next to my tent?
- No sorry, no cars are allowed on site at any time, and there is no parking nearby. Being such a central, well located site means that space is at a premium. We advise you travel to our campsite using public transport.
- Do you allow campervans on site?
- Yes! But only Wicked Campers. To book your Wicked Camper go to www.wickedcampers.co.uk
- Do you allow open fires or fireworks at the campsite?
- No, all open fires and fireworks are strictly banned.
- Can I book and just pay a deposit?
- No, sorry we require full payment at the time of booking.
- What if I am not able to pay online?
- If for any reason you can not complete the booking process and pay online email us using this form and we will respond to your enquiry as soon as possible. We will provide additional payment options at that time.
- What facilities will there be for children?
- We will have a fun club set up. Please follow the links to find out more.
- Is there a minimum stay period?
- Yes. We have a two night minimum stay.
- Are children free to camp?
- Yes but only for children ages 6 and under. You will have to include all children aged 7 and up in your booking and pay for the standard amount.
- Is there a check-in/check-out time?
- Yes. Check-in is from 2pm till late, check-out is by 10am
- What if I want to book Luxury or pre-erected camping and I am by myself?
- You are in luck... ish. For the pre-erected camping you can either choose to pay a singles supplement of £20 per night and you will secure the tent for yourself. Alternatively, you can choose to accept that you might share a tent with anyone – in which case no supplement will be required. If you are wanting to book as a solo traveller, please do this through our ‘Contact Us’ form. For Luxury camping, we are sorry to say that due to the logistics surrounding this option we are unable to offer a singles supplement – you will need to pay for the full price of this tent i.e £200 per night.
